Experts at The University of Liverpool's the iD2M Centre are working with Optima to provide tailored digital integration solutions to industry.
The project is a partnership with St Helen's Chamber who secured £13.4million of Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) Funding to up-skill business supply chains in the region. The project seeks to ensure that participating businesses develop leading edge capabilities to enhance their growth and competitiveness.
Tony Rhoades, Director iD2M centre explains "iD2M helps companies improve their value and capabilities, enter new markets, adopt best practices, and deliver innovative new products and systems to market faster".
"We do this through the adoption of leading edge and emerging digital techniques and technologies, structured around our six-step AWAKEN © methodology involving strategy development, solution design and deployment, and value realisation".
Matt Fulton, Centre Manager said "We have engaged Optima to deliver specialist MCAD sector knowledge and training, with particular attention to the Pro/ENGINEER suit of products. They have proved to be excellent project partner".
Tony concludes "Following the training and implementation delivered by Optima, our practitioners work with customers to realise the profit impact and growth potential of digital integration techniques on the bottom line of their business".
