For over 20 years Styrecast have been developing, designing and manufacturing a wide range of components for down-hole applications, supplying a diverse range of oil and gas customers around the world.
The Derbyshire based company approached Optima to generate a range of new designs and provide renderings and animations of their Cross Coupling Protectors to improve their marketing-promotional activities and assist in the sales process.
Optima were able to generate various designs quickly and use in-house 3D printing capabilities to prove the designs functional and aesthetic validity. Particular consideration was paid to incorporating novel features that both protect the coupling and provide cable management, making assembly easier and faster.
