Introduction to Pro/INTRALINK 9.0 (TRN-2137–T)
In this course, you will learn how to complete basic Pro/INTRALINK functions including how to access and navigate the Pro/INTRALINK environment, locate and view product information, complete assigned tasks, as well as use Pro/INTRALINK´s communication andcollaboration tools. You will also learn the key capabilities and features of Pro/INTRALINK CAD Data Management and how to use Pro/INTRALINK to manage Pro/ENGINEER design information. Specifically, you will focus on the day-to-day data management tasks required by the Pro/ENGINEER user community.

You will complete Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment questions for each module. These questions are used to help reinforce your understanding of the course topics and form the basis for daily review sessions. After completing the course, you will be prepared to complete basic Pro/INTRALINK tasks and activities, manage Pro/ENGINEER design information, as well as have a better understanding of the Pro/INTRALINK system implementation at your company.

Prerequisites:
Basic browser and Web navigation skills.

Course length: 2 Days

Windchill 9.0 System Administration (TRN_2141–T)
In this course, you will learn how to install and configure Windchill system components, including PDMLink and ProjectLink. You will learn how to perform routine Windchill system administration tasks including how to shut down and start Windchill services, conduct performance testing, and tune up Windchill components for performance. You will also learn how to manage a distributed system environment and plan and run basic backup and recovery procedures. Other topics include managing system performance with Oracle 10g, managing memory and CPU allocation, troubleshooting background queues, and monitoring firewall activity and security.

Note: Due to the subject matter of this class, simulated software is used for Windchill installation to provide an accurate, effective, and efficient training experience that could not otherwise be duplicated in a standard classroom environment.

At the end of each day, you will complete Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment questions. These questions are used to help reinforce your understanding of the course topics and form the basis for daily review sessions.

After completing the course, you will be prepared to complete basic Windchill PDMLink tasks and activities, as well as have a better understanding of the Windchill PDMLink system implementation at your company.

Prerequisites:
Familiarity with the Windchill PDMLink 9.0 or Windchill ProjectLink 9.0 user interface.
Familiarity with the Windows command prompt and the ability to form and execute basic SQL statements.

Windchill PDMLink 9.0 Business Administration (TRN-2139–T)
In this course, you will learn how to perform basic Windchill PDMLink 9.0 administration tasks. You will learn how to plan and create user accounts and groups, and how to plan and create information management storage strategies. Other topics will include life cycles, workflows, teams, and configuring domain policies. These skills are important because they enable a business administrator to configure Windchill PDMLink to meet business needs.

At the end of each module, you will complete Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment questions. These questions are used to help reinforce your understanding of the course topics and form the basis for daily review sessions.

After completing the course, you will be well prepared to set up and manage a basic Windchill PDMLink implementation at your company.

Introduction to Windchill MPMLink 9.0 (TRN- 2159–T)
In this course, you will learn how to complete basic Windchill MPMLink functions. You will learn about MPMLink in the context of Manufacturing Process Management (MPM). You will also learn how to access and navigate the Windchill MPMLink environment, manage information, use Windchill MPMLink.s visualization tools, and manage manufacturing changes attributed to product development. Other topics include how to use Windchill MPMLink to transform eBOMs to one or more mBOMs, create process plans that consume the mBOM, create and manage manufacturing resources and standards, and how to enable communication and collaboration with product development. These skills are important because they enable a user to apply Windchill MPMLink capabilities toward meeting a company.s MPM goals.

At the end of each day, you will complete Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment questions. These questions are used to help reinforce your understanding of the course topics and form the basis for daily review sessions.

Introduction to Windchill PDMLink 9.0 (TRN- 2136–T)
In this course, you will learn how to complete basic Windchill PDMLink functions. You will learn how to access and navigate the Windchill PDMLink environment, manage information, use Windchill PDMLink´s visualization tools, manage assigned tasks, and manage product information changes. Other topics include how to use Windchill PDMLink´s communication and collaboration tools and access user support functions and information. These skills are important because they enable a user to apply Windchill PDMLink capabilities toward meeting a company´s Product Lifecycle Management goals.

At the end of each day, you will complete Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment questions. These questions are used to help reinforce your understanding of the course topics and form the basis for daily review sessions.

After completing the course, you will be prepared to complete basic Windchill PDMLink tasks and activities, as well as have a better understanding of the Windchill PDMLink system implementation at your company.

Introduction to Windchill ProjectLink 9.0 (TRN-2138–T)
In this course, you will learn how to participate in and manage projects using Windchill ProjectLink 9.0. You will learn how to access and navigate the Windchill ProjectLink interface. This includes navigating and using your personal environment, the project environment, and the visualization environment. You will also learn how to manage document information, CAD information, and assigned tasks. You will also learn how to create and manage projects, which includes planning activities and milestones, assigning the project team, and setting up the folder storage structure. You will learn how to communicate with other team members using Windchill ProjectLink's collaboration tools. Lastly, you will learn how to create a program consisting of multiple projects, and a plan for managing the program.

At the end of each training day, Pro/FICIENCY skills assessments will be used to reinforce your understanding of the course topics. Your instructor will also use the results from the anonymous skills assessments as the basis for daily review sessions.

Course length: 1 Day

Migrating Pro/INTRALINK 3.4 Data to Windchill 9.0 (TRN-2160–T)
In this course, you will learn how to perform a production migration from Pro/INTRALINK 3.x to the Windchill´s architecture. You will also learn how to conduct a migration effort properly, including planning, preparing the systems for migration, practicing the migration, and conducting the production migration. Lastly, you will discuss post migration tasks.

At the end of the course, a Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment will be used to reinforce your understanding of the course topics.

Pro/ENGINEER Data Management using Windchill PDMLink 9.0 (TRN-2147–T)
In this course, you will learn key capabilities and features of PDMLink CAD Data Management and how to use PDMLink to manage Pro/ENGINEER design information. Specifically, you will focus on the day-to-day data management tasks required by the Pro/ENGINEER user community, including how to associate the Pro/ENGINEER CAD data structure to the eBOM. You will also learn how to use PDMLink to perform basic functions on the eBOM objects and Pro/ENGINEER CAD Documents.

You will complete Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment questions for each module. These questions are used to help reinforce your understanding of the course topics and form the basis for daily review sessions.

After completing this course, you will be prepared to complete basic PDMLink CAD data management tasks and activities, as well as having a better understanding of PDMLink CAD data management processes.

Windchill 9.0 Workflow Administration (TRN-2143–T)
In this course, you will learn Windchill Workflow features and how to design, configure and test workflow processes.

You will complete Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment questions for each module. These questions are used to help reinforce your understanding of the course topics and form the basis for daily review sessions.

After completing the course, you will be able to plan and configure workflow automation features to support your company's business processes.

Prerequisites:
Successful completion of Introduction to Windchill PDMLink 9.0, Introduction to Windchill ProjectLink 9.0, or Introduction to Arbortext Content Manager 9.0.

Successful completion of Windchill PDMLink 9.0 Business Administration, Windchill ProjectLink 9.0 Business Administration, or Arbortext Content Manager 9.0 Business Administration.

Course length: 2 Days

Introduction to ProductView 9.0 (TRN-2140–T)
In this course, you will learn about ProductView tools and techniques that are most commonly used. Using the ProductView Standard client, you will learn how to locate and view models in Windchill and Pro/INTRALINK PDM solutions.

Through exercises, you will learn to use the ProductView Standard interface to orient and interrogate 3-D models, explode components, measure 2-D and 3-D geometry on models, section models, as well as annotate and mark-up models. You will also learn how to query model data and how to collaborate with other users regardless of physical location.

At the end of the course, a Pro/FICIENCY skills assessment will be used to einforce your understanding of the course topics.
