TCSJOHNHUXLEY is the world’s leader in research, development, services and innovation in the live gaming space, recently showcased a range of striking additions to its Qorex Electronic Gaming Solutions line.
Qorex provides all the thrills of live gaming while delivering the benefits of electronic gaming such as multi-game selection and improved security whilst optimising resources and hardware to increase revenue.
Designed to complement the attractive Qorex cabinet that incorporates system-controlled LED’s, a range of new accessories featuring podiums, divider shelves and game signage displayed, shows just how flexible and eye-catching Qorex layout configurations can be achieved.
Working from concepts we needed to design a central podium that could be configured to play different games, depending on the customers’ requirements. The unit also had to incorporate decorative LED arrays that kept the Qorex design DNA to be in keeping with the gaming units placed around the podium.
The predominantly sheet metal design also had to securely house the hardware required to run the unit and allow easy access for installation and maintenance.
In addition to the podium the brief also included the design of a unit that could be attached to the main gaming terminal to include features like drinks holders and wireless charging points. The design had to be flexible enough to accommodate different layouts dependant on floor space and customer requirements.
The project had to be completed in a very short space of time for the ICE showcase event in London, the worlds largest gaming show.
The resulting designs were developed and manufactured in time for the ICE event. Feedback from the show was extremely positive and attracted strong interest from the delegates which attended, not least due to its striking presence in the exhibition hall.
